You don't have to spend a lot of time up front defining items (though it is easy to import them from Excel or a database). In the beginning, you can define Items on the fly as you receive or issue stock. And you can issue stock without existing lots -- the lots can be created automatically.

After the system has been running a while, you can tighten up control, making sure that only authorized supervisors can override the rules (with a full audit trail). When you get some time, you can go through the warehouse, creating lots for your existing stock section by section.

We designed the screens to be simple and easy to use, so they don't require training, and you won't get resistance from your staff to get started. We support English and Chinese (simplified and traditional), and you can easily customize the screens to match your own naming conventions. It is easy to integrate bar code and RFID readers for fast data entry.
